Late Winter / Early Spring - Add compost.
Watering
Mulch around base of plant to retain moisture.
Pruning / Cutting Back
Can remove dead heads to encourage further blooming, however that may not allow plants to self-seed (which impacts the next year's plants).
Divide plants every 2-3 years.
